Document delivery service library display

Not sure what an Interlibrary Loan is ? Did you have the opportunity to use it?

The RAU University Library offers a Document Supply (Inter-Library Loan) Service which provides access to material not held within the library whilst also supplying material from its own stock to other libraries.

We can obtain for you printed and electronic material from the British Library and from other Libraries within the UK, including:

  • Books, including individual chapters
  • Journal articles
  • Conference papers

So, if an item is not available at RAU Library, you can request an Interlibrary Loan.  The Library will make the request on your behalf and will borrow books and journals.

Discover more about the Interlibrary Request service from through our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) or read all information on Gateway (Library Page). Take also a look into the recent display in the library premises.

Quote of the Moment

“But after all, in a library as in a business, the best advertising is that done by good service. The good library is its own best advertisement” – John Cotton Dana
