Give Books a New Home!

Do you have unwanted books (fiction or non-fiction) in good condition?  If so, then in the spirit of good will please donate any unwanted books in good condition to the RAU Library and we will ensure that the books are sent to Better World Books, who will then endeavour to sell the books online to raise money for charities.

The benefits of this include:

·        no books are ever sent to landfill under this scheme

·        their re-use is promoted, including literacy initiatives

·        revenue for literacy charities and libraries is raised

·        any carbon emissions caused by transporting books is offset by tree-planting schemes

 Thank you for your donation!

Quote of the Moment

“But after all, in a library as in a business, the best advertising is that done by good service. The good library is its own best advertisement” – John Cotton Dana
