RAU Green Christmas Tree Made of Library Books!

This year RAU Library created a Christmas tree from little used books from the Support Collection.

Books of different sizes and colour stacked, decorated with paper snowflakes and few sparkly lights. Our green tree looks as festive as a traditional evergreen or an artificial one.

After the Christmas holidays, the books will be returned to their shelves (good thing that there is no waste!)

We hope our festive tree add cheer to the library with zero impact on the environment.

Maybe it will inspire you to make your own tree out of books!

We have received already several very complimentary comments about it!

RAU Library wishes staff and student a happy and (green) Christmas!

Quote of the Moment

“But after all, in a library as in a business, the best advertising is that done by good service. The good library is its own best advertisement” – John Cotton Dana
