Use the library catalogue (Heritage Cirqa) to find books, journals, DVDs, dissertations etc. held in the library: http://catalogue.rau.ac.uk/heritage/                                                                                Or: Use Find it @ RAU to search for a wider range of resources, including e-journals, e-Books, market research reports etc.  Go to the Library section on Gateway: https://gateway.rau.ac.uk/ .

A. Yes, most of our e-Books can be downloaded to a PC, flash drive or to a portable device such as an ipad for 1-7 days (Dawsonera) or for 14 days (ebrary).  Please be aware that a small number of publishers, however, do not permit downloading.

A. No, the library is for quiet individual study.  Please use the library foyer or the ground floor of the Garner block for group study.

A. If asking people yourself to please be quiet doesn’t work, please send an e-mail to library.staff@rau.ac.uk with the subject line NOISE and an indication of which room you are in.  A member of the team will then investigate.

Q. Can I eat and drink in the library?

A. No, only bottled water is permitted.  There are plenty of other places on campus to consume food and hot or sugary drinks.
