Colour Illustration in the Royal Agricultural University’s Historical Book collection (pre-1920)

Did you know that our RAU Library holds 1,000 volumes of historical books with the emphasis on farming and rural life, some of which date back to the 16th century? Near the library entrance, we have a current display with the title:

All the books are Reference only not loanable, ordered alphabetically by author and stored in 35 glass-fronted cabinets in the Library’s Reading room.
Members of the public are welcome, by prior appointment, to view our Historical Collection of which we are justifiably proud.
