Land Life & Leisure service changes!

As you may already know Land, Life & Leisure, the online database for agricultural and other land-based periodicals, will, with the support of EDINA (http://edina.ac.uk/) enter a new phase of its existence this coming academic year.  Although Aberystwyth University is no longer involved, the database will continue and other institutions, including the Royal Agricultural College and Harper Adams, will continue to contribute to the database for at least another year.

This new regime required a few changes in the number and choice of journal titles that we index for the database, and it was decided that the main focus should be on the popular press rather than the scholarly (which tends to be indexed elsewhere).

It is hoped that a number of other land-based libraries will contribute to this service should the next 12 months prove to be a successful one for Land, Life & Leisure.

The database can be access directly (or with an Athens username and password if off-campus) via http://edina.ac.uk/landlifeleisure/
