The Bamford Library at Harper Adams University College in Shropshire was the venue for this year’s Land, Life & Leisure Indexers’ meeting held on 27th January 2009.  Land, Life & Leisure is a bibliographic database of land-based literature whose focus is both practical and scholarly.  Data is supplied by Aberystwyth University with contributions from the Royal Agricultural College, Harper Adams, Kingston Maurward, Myerscough and Pershore Colleges.

Theano Manoli and Peter Brooks were the Royal Agricultural College Library’s representatives at the meeting.  These meetings are held to discuss possible improvements and enhancements to Land, Life & Leisure, and to exchange ideas and feedback about use of the service by staff and students.  The day included a tour around the modern, eco-friendly library whose stock is very similar to the RAC Library’s, and also includes a unique historical collection on poultry.
